Mesothelioma Symptoms
Posted on: October 4, 2023Mesothelioma Symptoms are some of the things that can occur when you are suffering from Mesothelioma. Some mesothelioma symptoms include pain in your chest, shortness of breath or having pain and or swelling in your abdominal area.
Swelling is another type of mesothelioma symptom, that occurs in the abdominal region due to the accumulation of fluid.
Weight loss, fever, night sweats, cough, and a general feeling of not being healthy, are the less common mesothelioma symptoms, but they do exist.
Peritoneal(abdominal) mesothelioma symptoms include bowel obstruction, blood clotting abnormalities, anemia (a lowered red blood cell count), as well as fever and cough.
Early symptoms of mesothelioma are generally non-specific and are not unique to the disease, and a diagnosis may be difficult. Malignant mesothelioma most likely does become apparent until 20-30 years after the first exposure to asbestos.
