Doing mesothelioma treatment can lead to development of other mesothelioma symptoms. An example:

A fluid can gather up in a lung and cause shortness of breath, which is a common mesothelioma symptom. This fluid can then be drained out of the lung.

The sad part is that mesothelioma has a bad record of coming up again in the area where it was once removed or treated. Therefore, by building up a fluid in the lung, a sign of mesothelioma recurrence is seen.
